  • Join Us for the March for Science

The Academy is a proud supporter of the upcoming March for Science, taking place April 22, 2017.

    Posted 3/14/2017

This year, on Earth Day, scientists around the globe will gather in Washington, DC, New York City, and countless other cities to call for science that upholds the common good and for political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest. And the Academy, our Members, people on our staff, and our supporters will be among them.

We believe the non-partisan principles and goals of the March are wholly consistent with our values and mission as a scientific institution. We are proud to support the March for Science at both the national and local level, and we hope you will stand with us in defense of science and scientific integrity.
