Wendy Schneider

Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer

Wendy Schneider joined NYAS in 2001 as Director, Human Resources. In 2008 she was promoted to Vice President, Human Resources, and in 2009 she was again promoted to Vice President, Administration and Human Resources. In this current capacity, she oversees the Finance, Facilities, Information Technology (including Audio/Visual) and Human Resources Departments. In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Wendy played a key role in the design and build-out of the Academy's current facilities at 7 World Trade Center.

Prior to joining the Academy, Wendy was the Executive Vice President at Park med Eastern Women's Center, a privately-held Article 28 ambulatory surgery center providing medical services to over 15,000 women annually. At the surgery center she was responsible for all Human Resources and Facilities Management services as well as all regulatory compliance with NYC and NYS Departments of Health regulations.

Wendy is a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook with a BA in Political Science.
