    Sunday, November 15, 2009 | 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
American Museum of Natural History, Milstein Hall of Ocean Life

An exploration of the science and history behind Terra Nova: Sinfonia Antarctica, a new multimedia performance by Paul D. Miller (aka DJ Spooky). Terra Nova was inspired by sound recordings of ice melting made by Miller in a recording studio he brought to Antarctica. The program includes research data, samples of the work in process, and archival footage from AMNH special collections. A co-presentation with the Margaret Mead Film & Video Festival at the American Museum of Natural History and CUNY’s Science & the Arts series.
