Sustaining Members receive complimentary Membership in the Lyceum Society and invitations to special Academy lectures, seminars, and other events. This is our way of thanking you for your leadership. Furthermore, your memory will live on in perpetuity at the Academy, acknowledging your generous donation.

Bequests

By naming the New York Academy of Sciences in your will or living trust, you can realize substantial tax savings while pledging your support of the Academy into the future. Your donation will ensure that the Academy continues to advance scientific knowledge and technology, help resolve major global challenges facing society with science-based solutions, and increase the number of scientifically informed individuals. By thoughtfully remembering the Academy, you can leave the legacy you wish for science.

You may impart a specific dollar amount to the Academy in your will or a portion of what remains after your obligations to others are fulfilled. You may either designate your bequest to support the Academy’s overall mission, where your contribution will be directed to where it is needed most, or to a specific program. Through your bequest, the Academy may establish a permanent named program or space within its Conference Center, and you will be recognized in perpetuity.
