The New York Academy of Sciences is an international, nonprofit membership organization working to advance scientific knowledge, mobilize science to address major global challenges, and increase the number of scientifically informed individuals in society. Our 24,000 members, living in 140 countries, are Nobel laureates and students, primary investigators and technicians, academics and industry professionals, working in all fields of science and technology.
