The New York Academy of Sciences President's Council member Frank Wilczek, a Nobel Laureate and one of the world's most eminent theoretical physicists, will be honored by The Kosciuszko Foundation on April 28, 2012, at the organization's 77th Annual Dinner and Ball at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City.
The Kosciuszko Foundation is an educational non-profit and a premier center of Polish culture in the greater New York area. The theme of this year's Ball is "Polish Contributions to Science." The Ball is the Foundation's annual event which brings together successful Poles in America and the Polish diplomatic community for a night of dining, dancing, and networking. The entire proceeds from the Ball will go toward the establishment of the Marie Curie Science Scholarship Fund for students, researchers, and scientists.
