  • Signal Transduction Pathways, Chromatin Structure, and Gene Expression Mechanisms as Therapeutic Targets

Edited by Marc Diederich (Hopital Kirchberg, Luxembourg)
    Volume 1030, January 2005
    77 Papers

This volume describes recent findings in the field of fundamental signal transduction mechanisms, including protein kinases as therapeutic targets as well as applied research toward angiogenesis, apoptosis, and chemopreventive agents. Also included are recent data about signaling mechanisms related to chromatin structure and transcriptional control of gene expression including DNA methylation, histone methyltransferases, histone acetyltransferases, and histone deacetylases as well as novel inhibitors of those regulatory pathways.
