    General Information

    • 32 volumes will be published in 2009
    • Typically 25 or more each year are in the biological or biomedical sciences.
    • Print editions are available for member and nonmember individual orders
    • The Annals is a serial publication (ISSN: 0077-8923; eISSN: 1749-6632) available by prepaid subscription to institutions.
    • All institutional subscriptions include access to the online edition.

    Member Orders

    Annals Benefits of Academy Membership:

    • Individual and Emeritus Academy members may claim one FREE Annals volume of their choice per year.
    • Patrons may claim two FREE Annals volumes of their choice per year per year.
    • Individual, Patron, Emeritus, and Student and Postdoc members may:
      • Purchase up to 5 volumes at $40 each in each membership year. Purchases must be made in their respective year of membership.
      • Receive books with no added shipping/handling charges or taxes.
      • Access Annals online offering completely searchable and downloadable full-text Annals articles going back to 1823.

      To order, log in as a member using your member user ID and password. Select the Annals of your choice from the online catalog, and then click on the shopping cart icon associated with the book(s) you wish to order.

      Members who are Corresponding Authors of articles in Annals volumes are eligible for a free copy of the volume in which their paper appears, in addition to any Annals benefits due them with their membership. Corresponding authors are identified at the bottom of the first page of each Annals article. All authors, using the Authors Book Order Form supplied with their author proofs, can order additional copies of their authored volume at a 50% discount off the nonmember price. Blackwell books are also available at a 35% discount off the list price. Offprints of the author's article can be purchased according to the pricing schedule on the Offprint Order Form supplied with author proofs.

      Rush order service is available in the U.S. via UPS ground (Add $7); International via Air Parcel Post (Add $20).

      The Annals is no longer available online through HighWire Press. All online access is now through Wiley InterScience. Institutional users who accessed Annals through HighWire in the past will be automatically redirected to InterScience and should experience no interruption in service, although our pages will look and work somewhat different. If you experience any difficulty accessing our content, please notify your librarian or Wiley-Blackwell customer service.

      Nonmember Orders

      Individual Nonmember Sales

      To order an Annals volume as a nonmember, select the volume of interest from the Academy's online catalog or purchase directly on our publisher's web site Wiley-Blackwell.

      Taxes and shipping/handling apply.

      Authors (nonmembers)

      Authors receive a Volume Order Form and an Offprint Order Form with their proofs.

      Corresponding authors of articles in all Annals volumes receive a free copy of the volume in which their paper appears. Corresponding authors are identified at the bottom of the first page of each article.

      All authors who are not Academy members may purchase Annals volumes at a 50% discount using the Volume Order Form. They may also purchase other Blackwell books at a 35% discount. (Authors who are Academy members may also purchase Annals volumes at prices consistent with their membership benefits.

      Rights & Permissions

      Permission requests to re-use copyrighted material in other publications are handled by the Wiley-Blackwell. Contact journalsrights@oxon.blackwellpublishing.com, identifying exactly the material you wish to republish.

      List the volume, page, and item, and give full details about the new publication in which you wish to use the material.

      Give the title, editors or authors, publisher, expected date of publication, and the nature of the publication, its intended audience, and the likely initial print run, if applicable.
