Our state-of-the-art facility, located on the 40th floor of 7 World Trade Center features breathtaking views of the New York City skyline and comprises four magnificent event spaces. The building was one of the first projects accepted to be part of the U.S. Green Building Council's Pilot Program for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design - Core and Shell Development, and is one of the city's first gold-certified LEED buildings. Our versatility will enable you to host events for up to 300 in The Kayden Auditorium, receptions for 225 in our stylish Lobby, gatherings for as many as 80 guests in our Conference Room, and high-level meetings of up to 50 guests in our Boardroom.
Each of our spaces features striking design elements, highly flexible configurations and the latest in audio-visual technology, serviced by the Academy's technical staff. All meeting rooms feature a variety of lighting options, electronic sun and blackout shades, pull-down screens, built-in front screen projectors, built-in audio and video recording equipment, teleconferencing capability, wireless access, as well as a podium and mic. A wide variety of audio visual equipment is also available.
The New York Academy of Sciences is also conveniently located in downtown Manhattan, at the center of a major transportation hub.
