NYAS organizes 12-14 interdisciplinary international conferences each year on cutting-edge basic and applied research within the life sciences and medicine, and on the broader roles of science and technology in society. Academy conferences are supported by contributions and grants from corporations, foundations, and government agencies. A number of conference support levels and exhibitor opportunities are available for Academy conferences. Below is an outline of our sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities.

Conference Sponsorship Opportunities

Platinum ($75,000 and up)

• Prominent recognition as a Platinum Sponsor with your logo and organization’s name displayed on Web site, e-mail, flyers, direct mail brochure, and onsite program
• Option to sponsor the opening/welcome reception or (1) lunch
• Onsite signage throughout the conference
• Full page ad in the onsite program (artwork provided by sponsor and subject to NYAS approval)
• Logo and company name with live link to your designated URL featured in the conference eBriefing (if applicable)
• Complimentary exhibitor table in a high traffic area
• 15-20 complimentary registrations (based on level of support)
• 15-20 complimentary copies of the bound Annals volume published from the conference proceedings (if applicable)

Gold ($50,000-$74,999)

• Prominent recognition as a Gold Sponsor with your logo and organization’s name displayed on Web site, e-mail, flyers, direct mail brochure, and onsite program
• Option to sponsor (1) Continental Breakfast or Conference Lanyards
• Onsite signage throughout the conference
• Full page ad in the onsite program (artwork provided by sponsor and subject to NYAS approval)
• Logo and company name with live link to your designated URL featured in the conference eBriefing (if applicable)
• Complimentary exhibitor table in a high traffic area
• 10-15 complimentary registrations (based on level of support)
• 10-15 complimentary copies of the bound Annals volume published from the conference proceedings (if applicable)

Silver ($25,000-$49,999)

• Prominent recognition as a Silver Sponsor with your logo and organization’s name displayed on Web site, e-mail, flyers, direct mail brochure, and onsite program
• Option to sponsor (1) Morning or (1) Afternoon Coffee Break
• Onsite signage throughout the conference
• Half page ad in the onsite program (artwork provided by sponsor and subject to NYAS approval)
• Company name with live link to your designated URL featured in the conference eBriefing (if applicable)
• 50% discount on exhibitor table in a high traffic area
• 5-10 complimentary registrations (based on level of support)
• 5-10 complimentary copies of the bound Annals volume published from the conference proceedings (if applicable)

Bronze ($10,000-$24,999)

• Prominent recognition as a Bronze Sponsor with your organization’s name displayed on Web site, e-mail, flyers, direct mail brochure, and onsite program
• Onsite signage throughout the conference
• Company name with live link to your designated URL featured in the conference eBriefing (if applicable)
• 25% discount on exhibitor table in a high traffic area
• 2-5 complimentary registrations (based on level of support)
• 2-5 complimentary copies of the bound Annals volume published from the conference proceedings (if applicable)

Academy Friend ($1,000-$9,999)

• Prominent recognition as an Academy Friend with your organization’s name displayed on Web site, e-mail, flyers, direct mail brochure, and onsite program
• Onsite signage throughout the conference
• Company name with live link to your designated URL featured in the conference eBriefing (if applicable)
• 0-2 complimentary registrations (based on level of support)
• 0-2 complimentary copies of the bound Annals volume published from the conference proceedings (if applicable)

Exhibitor Opportunities

Exhibitor Booth ($5,000 and up)

Increase your exposure on the day of the event by exhibiting your booth or pop-up display in a high traffic area. Booth location will be determined by level of support. All Academy Friend benefits are included.

Registration Sponsorships

Tote Bags ($15,000)

Increase your company visibility with handy branded tote bags. Your tote bag will be given to all attendees to use throughout the conference. After the event, many attendees will continue to use their bags, giving your company further visibility. In addition, you may include one piece of literature or branded giveaways such as a pen or notebook (branded materials will be provided by the sponsor and are subject to NYAS approval). All Bronze Sponsor benefits are included.

Lanyards ($6,000)

Gain high visibility with your branded lanyards during the event. Your lanyards will be given to all attendees to use throughout the conference. All Academy Friend benefits are included.

Water Bottles ($6,000)

Brand the water bottles with your logo and let the attendees advertise for you. All guests and attendees will receive a branded water bottle with their registration materials. All Academy Friend benefits are included.

Hospitality Sponsorships

Opening/Welcome Reception ($60,000 and up)

Welcome attendees with an upscale evening reception on the opening night of the conference. Branded signage will remind participants of your hospitality and sponsorship. In addition, your literature and company materials can be displayed throughout the reception area for further visibility (materials are subject to NYAS approval). At the reception, your representatives will have access to greet the attendees and make new contacts. Sponsorship of the opening/welcome reception includes all Gold Sponsor benefits.

Formal Dinner or Reception ($50,000 and up)

Headline a special, formal event for the conference participants. Branded signage will remind participants of your hospitality and sponsorship. In addition, your literature and company materials can be displayed throughout the dinner or reception for further visibility (materials are subject to NYAS approval). During the evening, your representatives will have access to greet the attendees and make new contacts. Dinner sponsorship includes all Gold Sponsor benefits.

Lunch ($15,000 per day)

Gain visibility during critical lunch networking. Branded signage will remind participants of your hospitality and sponsorship. In addition, your literature and company materials can be displayed on tables for further visibility (materials are subject to NYAS approval). At the luncheon, your representatives will have a unique opportunity to greet the attendees and make new contacts. Lunch sponsorship includes all Bronze Sponsor benefits. Continental Breakfast ($10,000 per day)

Help attendees start the conference day with your branded breakfast. Branded signage will remind participants of your hospitality and sponsorship. In addition, your company materials or branded coffee cups can be displayed on tables for further visibility (materials are subject to NYAS approval). At breakfast, your company representatives will have a unique opportunity to greet the attendees and make new contacts. Breakfast sponsorship includes all Bronze Sponsor benefits. Coffee Breaks ($7,500 per day)

Feature your brand during popular coffee breaks. Attendees will appreciate your contribution to their energy boost with the coffee, tea and other beverages and snacks available. “Thank you” signs featuring your logo will be provided. Custom Sponsorships

eBriefing ($25,000)

The Academy’s popular eBriefings are multimedia, online versions of our conferences available to a worldwide audience. Last year eBriefings tallied 625,000 visits by an aggregated total of more than 400,000 unique web visitors. eBriefings are consistently rated among the most popular and most frequently visited features on the NYAS web site.

eBriefings provide a continuous avenue for the sponsors to have brand exposure to our global audiences by logo positioning with a live link to the designated URL on every page of the eBriefing. The Academy has created and is continually adding to its growing library of over 550 eBriefings, covering disciplines in many of today’s most exciting fields in the biomedical, physical, and environmental sciences, thus providing thousands of viewers for years to come. eBriefing sponsorship includes all Silver Sponsor benefits.

Annals Volume ($10,000 and up)

The Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences is the premier scientific publication of our conference proceedings. The Annals provides a PubMed-indexed record of selected Academy conferences through more than 5000 research libraries worldwide. The Annals is among the most highly cited general scientific serials, according to Thomson Scientific, and regularly among the 10 most active of the 1400 titles on the Wiley Interscience online platform.

Custom Annals sponsorship includes special acknowledgement of sponsor support in one of several available formats (design/wording subject to Academy approval) and a substantial number of complimentary, branded copies of the volume to send to your contacts. Pricing starts at $10,000 for 150 copies of your branded Annals volume and $15,000 for 250 copies (assuming standard sized and format). In addition, sponsors may support open online access of the Annals volume, with special acknowledgement, or specific articles (pricing available upon request). Annals volume sponsorship includes all Bronze Sponsor benefits.

Podcast ($3,000)

NYAS podcasts are extremely popular, having been downloaded an average of 35,000 times each month and recorded more than 1.5 million total downloads since inception. They are available through www.nyas.org, as well as iTunes. Podcast sponsorships include all Academy Friend benefits.

Poster Session ($5,000)

Gain visibility in one of the more highly trafficked areas of the conference. Poster sessions feature the work of up-and-coming scientists in the field. “Thank you” signs featuring your logo will be provided. Poster session sponsorships include all Academy Friend benefits.

Travel Scholarships (Starting at $5,000)

Give students, fellows, and junior investigators the opportunity to attend this conference. Your contribution will help defray travel costs for the next generation of scientists and investigators and foster their ability to form networks amongst themselves and with more senior investigators. Awardees will be acknowledged in the onsite program as "(Sponsor’s Name) Fellows". Travel Scholarship Sponsorshops include all Academy Friend benefits.
