2006-07 Annual Report
It is not enough to be busy.
So are the ants. The question is:
What are we busy about?
— Henry David Thoreau
Thoreau, the great American naturalist, was born in the same year that the New York Academy of Sciences was founded. His point certainly applies to our Academy: while we were extremely busy in 2006-07, we are proudest of the impact of our efforts to serve the scientific community, our members, and society in general. This Annual Report provides an overview of those efforts. |
