- The Annals is a serial publication (ISSN 077-8923) available by prepaid subscription.

Member Orders
Annals Benefits of Academy Membership
- Individual and Emeritus Academy members receive one FREE Annals volume of their choice.
- Patrons receive two FREE Annals volumes of their choice.
- Individual, Patron, Emeritus, and Student and Postdoc members may:
- Purchase up to 5 volumes at $40 each in each membership year. Purchases must be made in their respective year of membership.
- Receive books with no added shipping/handling charges or taxes.
- Access Annals online offering completely searchable and downloadable full-text Annals articles going back to 1823.
- To order, log in as a member using your member user ID and password. Select the Annals of your choice from the online catalog, and then click on the shopping cart icon associated with the book(s) you wish to order. If you are logged in as a member, the shopping cart will inform you of your remaining Annals benefits. Your profile in My NYAS (upper right section of the home page) will also inform you of your remaining Annals benefits.
- Member prices are listed with the description of each title in the online catalog.
- Members who are Corresponding Authors of Academy proceedings articles more than three pages in length (excluding poster papers) are eligible for a free copy of the volume in which their paper appears, in addition to any Annals benefits due them with their membership. Corresponding authors are identified at the bottom of the first page of each Annals article. All authors, using the Authors Book Order Form supplied with their author proofs, can order additional copies of their authored volume at a 50% discount off the nonmember price. Blackwell books are also available at a 35% discount off the list price. Offprints of the author's article can be purchased according to the pricing schedule on the Offprint Order Form supplied with author proofs.
- Rush order service available in the US via UPS ground (Add $7); International via Air Parcel Post (Add $20).

The Annals has a two-tier pricing structure. Subscriptions may commence at any point in the year. The pricing for 2008 is:
- Premium (print + online): $4265 (US); £2370 (ROW)
- Online only: $3656 (US); £2031 (ROW)

- Subscription includes shipping costs for print volumes.
- Subscription includes online access to full text.

- Annals subscribers can use both Blackwell's Synergy and Stanford University Press's Highwire for online access to the Annals.

Note to Subscribers
The Academy no longer accepts ship and bill standing orders. Blackwell accepts orders for individual volumes on a firm order basis (payment required to ship books). Volumes ordered as firm orders contain the same content as subscription volumes but do
not include online access.

Nonmember Orders
Authors (nonmembers)
Authors receive a Book Order Form and an Offprint Order Form with their proofs.

All authors who are not Academy members may purchase Annals volumes at a 50% discount using the Book Order Form. They may also purchase other Blackwell books at a 35% discount. Individual Sales
- To order an Annals volume as a nonmember, select the book of interest from the Academy's online catalog and click on the shopping cart icon associated with the title to complete the purchase process. (Prices of forthcoming volumes may not be assigned until near publication.).
- Nonmember book orders on the Academy Web site are transferred to our publisher's web site (Wiley-Blackwell) for processing and fulfillment; nonmember orders are no longer processed by the Academy.
- In addition to online purchasing, orders can also be placed by fax, phone, or e-mail (see Book Customer Service and Fulfillment below).
- Taxes and shipping/handling apply.

DOMESTIC/CANADIAN DELIVERY: Orders shipped via Surface will normally arrive within 3–10 business days from receipt of order. Orders shipped via 2-Day will normally arrive within 2–3 business days from receipt of order. Orders shipped via 1-Day (domestic only) will normally arrive within 1–2 business days (no Saturday delivery) from receipt of order. Alaska and Hawaii orders will be shipped via 2-Day. Puerto Rico and all U.S. Protectorate orders will be shipped via 2-Day using either UPS or Priority Mail; expect 1-2 days extra transit time to all U.S. Protectorates. Taxes and Customs
Sales tax is applied according to shipping address.
DOMESTIC DELIVERY: All applicable sales taxes for purchases of books and related materials are calculated based on local sales tax rates, and will be added to your order at checkout. Sales tax must be applied to delivery charges in the following states: California, Illinois, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
CANADIAN DELIVERY: Our publisher pays Revenue Canada directly for GST and adds the applicable charge to your order. All entry fees are waived.
Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with an Annals product return it within 30 days of receipt for a replacement copy or a full refund, with the exceptions noted below. Our publisher will reimburse the cost of shipping for returns of any item sent in error.
When returning products, please include a copy of the invoice in the package with the returned product(s). Be sure to send by traceable means.
