  • Aspen Brain Forum Prize in NeuroEducation
  • How does your current research bridge the gap between cognitive neuroscience and education? How can scientific discoveries inform development of innovative curricula and tools that enhance learning?

    The Aspen Brain Forum Foundation will award two prizes of $7,500 each in unrestricted funds to recognize innovation and excellence in translating discoveries from cognitive neuroscience into innovative curricula and new tools that enhance learning inside or outside of the classroom. The prize categories are 1) young investigator (at the post-doc / assistant professor level) and, 2) senior scientist. Applications will be reviewed by a multi-disciplinary committee of experts.

    Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the Second Annual Aspen Brain Forum conference.

    How to Apply:

    Applicants should submit the following:

    1. A cover letter of intent that describes the translational research project.
    2. A current curriculum vitae.
    3. Related publications (if applicable).
    4. Letters of recommendation from three colleagues and/or mentors.

    It is the intent of the Aspen Brain Forum to build a network of innovators that will ultimately lead to new collaborations and breakthroughs in research. This prize will honor excellence in NeuroEducation with unrestricted awards intended to facilitate research on innovative science-based curricula or tools for learning. Each year, the prize will be awarded in a different specialty area of neuroscience that corresponds with the topic of the Aspen Brain Forum conference.
