The microtubule associated protein tau (MAPT) is a key mediator of neurodegeneration in Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. This symposium will address the potential of tau-related targets for immunotherapy, across the spectrum of tauopathies. We will review the pre-clinical and clinical development of several tau immunotherapy programs that exemplify this emerging therapeutic strategy for Alzheimer’s disease and other devastating neurodegenerative disorders.

    Reception to follow.
