Who We Are

Academy Programs

As the disciplinary boundaries that once defined scientific research have fallen away in recent years, interdisciplinary knowledge and expertise has become the sine qua non of the scientific enterprise. The Academy’s Frontiers of Science Program aims to provide a vibrant platform for scientific exchange and networking amongst scientists working at the boundaries of the new interdisciplinary sciences of the 21st century. In a series of over forty annual seminars and symposia on broad-ranging, cutting-edge topics, the Academy brings together leading senior and junior scientists from academia, industry and government laboratories to explore the latest, most exciting topics in the biological, chemical and computational sciences as they relate to the life sciences.
