The Academy offers a wide range of benefits and services. Your access to benefits depends on the membership or affiliate category you select to match your interests.
Conferences Individual Members of the Academy are entitled to reduced registration fees for Academy conferences.
Meetings The Academy sponsors many meetings on a variety of topics each year in New York, generally at the Academy. Reservations are encouraged, as space is limited. All categories of Members are welcome at all Academy meetings.
Print Publications

The Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences is one of the
most highly cited scientific publications. Individual Members, Patron
Members, Student and Postdoc Members, and Emeritus Members are entitled
to select up to five volumes in this book series each year for only
$40 each — a significant savings on each volume.
In addition, Individual Members may select one Annals volume free
each year, and Patron Members may select two free volumes.

Membership magazine, in print and online, features
news and information about current issues in science and
technology as well as articles about the Academy and its
programs and Members. The magazine is mailed to all Members.
Online Offerings

Annals Online provides the full text of Annals articles back to 1823, as well as
downloadable article reprints, with powerful search options and
links to PubMed and hundreds of other leading journals.

Annals PrePrints provides rapid electronic publication of articles as they are submitted by authors. Full text PDF access is free to all Members.

Member magazine is also available online for Members.

eBriefings provide extensive coverage of
Academy Meetings and conferences, frequently offering multimedia
presentations and appended links and resources to backgound
information. Affiliates are able to access eBriefings from the
Academy group they have selected.
•
The Science Alliance portal is career development resources for graduate students, postdocs, and other Members interested in professional development.
