Hormone therapy has been much in the news, and questions have been raised for women and their doctors that urgently need answers. Our current knowledge of the biology of gonadal hormones is assessed in this volume, and the the gaps in knowledge that need to be addressed through additional research are explored. Contributions are brought together here from basic scientists, epidemiologists, and practicing clinicians whose expertise or clinical practice involves the study or administration of gonadal hormones.
