Claire Gallagher comes to the New York Academy of Sciences with ten years of experience working in corporate fundraising for New York-area nonprofit organizations. Most recently, Claire served as the Director of Development for Athlete Ally, a nonprofit that provides public awareness campaigns, educational programming, and tools and resources to foster inclusive sports communities. In her role at Athlete Ally, Claire developed and implemented an overall fundraising vision for the organization, with a particular focus on donor stewardship. Claire also has a robust background in special events, and has developed a number of highly specialized sponsorship opportunities, as well as managed event logistics. Prior to her nonprofit career, Claire received her BA from Colby College.
