This is the first meeting held at the Academy's new home, 7 World Trade Center. Our new address is 250 Greenwich St, New York, NY.

Speaker: David. J. Haas, PhD in Biophysics, Pres/CEO/Ch. Scientist Tecco Corp.

Low dose x-ray screening units, along with walk-through metal detectors were first introducted into the public domain for mass screening in 1968-1970. The talk will describe how these first machines developed and became the current 'everyday airport experience'
