Assistant Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University John Gamber will be on hand to talk about his upcomming book Positive Pollutions and Cultural Toxins, which  examins of the role of waste and contamination in late-20th century US ethnic literatures.


This talk is a part of Columbia's Café Social Science, a series of informal discussions about the questions surrounding the social science field today, led by Columbia University's foremost professors.
