Graduate Student and Postdoc Career Symposium at the NewYorkBio Conference

Graduate Student and Postdoc Career Symposium at the NewYorkBio Conference

Wednesday, May 14, 2014

10 On The Park @ Time Warner Center

Life science graduate students and postdocs have a complex career path to negotiate, and getting it started can be the hardest part.

Science Alliance and several universities are partnering with NewYorkBio to host the Student & Post Doc Career Symposium at the New York Bio Annual Conference. This symposium will introduce you to the skills and qualities that potential employers are looking for, not only in academic or traditional life science industry jobs, but also in industries that utilize life science specialists.

Discover from practitioners what they do, how they work, and what it is you need to do to prepare for that challenge. You will have the opportunity to meet directly with and talk to industry specialists in R&D, pharma, biotech, law, consulting, government, and other industries you might not have even thought about.
