WEBINAR

Presented By

The New York Academy of Sciences

How do university and high school students really feel about returning to school this fall?

While education leaders, policy makers, teachers, and parents deliberate over the return to school and the form it might take, few conversations include the voices and perspectives of students. This event will feature students from GSA programs—both in the US and around the world—who will share their experiences of remote learning last spring, their thoughts about how to make remote learning work for them, and their feelings about returning to school in person in the fall. This virtual panel event will focus on both secondary and university students.

During this webinar, you’ll hear from a panel of Global STEM Alliance students on the following topics:

  • How students and their schools navigated the COVID-19 crisis this past spring.
  • Discussion of what worked well, and what didn’t work at all, in the transition to online learning.
  • What students need to feel safe heading back to school and how schools can provide that support.
  • Recommendations on the future of learning, both in-person and virtually.
