Career Paths in Life Science Consulting

Thursday, April 8, 2021, 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM EDT

Webinar

Presented By

Science Alliance

Consulting is a popular route that many young scientists following their PhD or Postdoc take when transitioning out of Academia. It is a career path that is open to individuals coming from diverse professional degrees and backgrounds. Moving into Life Science Consulting provides the opportunity to learn about the business side of companies, operations, strategy and implementation. It builds upon one's problem solving skills from being a trainee in Academia and learning project management, communications and partnership development skills while still being in the Life Science space. This opens up new professional opportunities for individuals and offers a holistic view to smoothly pivot in their careers.

During this webinar, you’ll hear from a panel of Scientists on the following topics:

  1. Career growth of the Panel in Life Science Consulting
  2. What opportunities to seek when planning for a career in Life Science Consulting?
  3. What are the glaring truths to consider when pursuing this career path?
  4. What do you learn as a Life Science Consultant and what avenues does it expose you to?

The event will be followed by a virtual networking opportunity at 6:30 PM.
