We’re turning 200! Be part of the celebration.
The Academy will be celebrating our 200th anniversary from November 2016 through November 2017 and we want you to be part of it!

Starting with our annual Gala on November 7, we’re launching a year-long celebration of 200 years of bringing together extraordinary people to drive solutions to society’s challenges by advancing scientific research, education, and policy.
It’s going to be a great opportunity for everyone who has been part of the Academy’s history to reflect on some of the remarkable accomplishments of the past 200 years and dream big for the next 200.
Along with the many other exciting things that will be taking place during the 200 celebration, we’re also going to be launching a brand new website and a new look for the Academy, which you may have started to see in some of our social media posts.
In the meantime, there are a number of ways you can get involved in the celebration right now:

In the past 200 years the Academy and its Members have accomplished some pretty incredible things. One way you can keep up with some of the amazing history that’s happened in those 200 years is by getting a copy of our Bicentennial Calendar. Just make a donation of $200 or more to the Academy and not only will you be supporting the next 200 years of advancing science, we’ll also send you a copy of the Calendar. |
