Watch the video presentation above to learn more about the 2019 Blavatnik Regional Awards nominations process, outlining how to prepare nominations materials that address the four evaluation criteria of the Awards: Quality, Impact, Novelty, and Promise.

The Blavatnik Regional Awards for Young Scientists recognize outstanding young post-doctoral researchers under the age of 42 from institutions across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Every year, one Winner and two Finalists are selected in each of the three categories of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences & Engineering, and Chemistry, with Winners receiving $30,000 each and Finalists receiving $10,000 each, all in unrestricted funds.

Nominations will be accepted from eligible research universities, independent research institutions, academic medical centers, and government laboratories in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. A list of eligible institutions is available here.
