New Science & the City Series Launches

Science & the City is excited to announce the launch of our latest event series, Science and the Seven Deadly Sins. The Seven Deadly Sins evoke all manner of sordid thoughts—from the sins themselves to medieval punishments for sinners. But rather than seeking novel ways of flogging sinners for their moral missteps, in this new series we're looking at how these common failings manifest themselves in contemporary science.

We'll examine everything from interpersonal clashes in the lab, to viruses and animals doing what comes natural, to how your city and your body's design makes you more likely to succumb to sin. Each event will feature indulgent receptions afterwards, as well as opportunities for you to interact with our speakers and one another.

Save almost 30% by purchasing tickets to the whole series! Get more info or www.nyas.org/sciandthecity.
