The Academy's Global STEM Alliance Launched at the United Nations
Brings together governments, companies, schools and NGOs to increase global access to STEM education.

Yesterday, Monday September, 22, the New York Academy of Sciences with co-sponsor Global Partnerships Forum launched the Global STEM Alliance at the United Nations during the 69th annual General Assembly. Invited guests, including heads of state and representatives from the Alliance’s Founding Nations joined a distinguished panel of international leaders to help rally global engagement and acceleration of STEM education worldwide.
The Global STEM Alliance is an unprecedented global, public-private partnership which brings together governments, companies, schools and NGOs to increase access to great STEM education around the world.
The international launch event also spotlighted the Academy’s inaugural STEM Heroes Award.
