Buzz is growing about the new documentary Breakthrough, which premiered last weekend at South by Southwest. The film celebrates the extraordinary story of 2018 Nobel Laureate Dr. James P. Allison, whose groundbreaking work has revolutionized the field of Cancer Immunotherapy.

Since he is also an Honorary Member of the New York Academy of Sciences, we’re particularly excited to welcome Dr. Allison back to the Academy on May 14th, 2019, for the event: Frontiers in Cancer Immunotherapy. This two-day symposium will convene leading experts in cancer immunotherapy to discuss cutting-edge findings in the broad area of combination therapies, including checkpoint inhibitors and cellular therapies. In addition to participating as keynote speaker, Dr. Allison will join us prior to the program for a special breakfast with Members of the Academy’s Darwin Society.

Frontiers in Cancer Immunotherapy, is sold out for in-person attendance, but you can still register for the webinar here.
