Jeremy completed his PhD in molecular and cellular biology at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, focusing on hormonal control of reproductive cell development. Following his PhD, Jeremy spent several years working as a research scientist at ES Cell International, a start-up biotech based in Singapore, where he worked on developing clinical applications for human embryonic stem cells in treatment of type 1 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. He then relocated to Boston, where he spent a short time as a post-doc at Harvard University in Doug Melton's lab in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology.
In 2005, Jeremy joined McKinsey & Company's New York office as an associate and is currently a partner. He spends most of his time serving Fortune 500 companies in the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices sector, helping them with Research & Development strategy and Business Development (such as product licensing or mergers and acquisitions). Jeremy also leads McKinsey's recruiting efforts for MDs, PhDs and non-business masters degrees at Harvard University.
