Vitamin D and Thiamine Consultation Series

The Sackler Institute for Nutrition Science and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation partnered to carry out a series of technical consultations on Vitamin D and Thiamine. The consultations focused on consolidating what is known about deficiency in low and middle income countries; assessing the public health relevance of these conditions; reviewing interventions currently carried out or potentially available to address the problems; and recommending future investment actions in those areas.
