A former Deputy Commissioner of Sanitation in New York City, Gonen has long been a leader in sustainable innovation, public-private partnerships, and zero-waste initiatives. He is the author of The Waste-Free World: How the Circular Economy Will Take Less, Make More, and Save the Planet.
