
Chenelle Bonavito Martinez is the Vice President of STEM Talent Programs at the New York Academy of Sciences. In this role, Chenelle oversees both the virtual and in-person programming of the Academy's Global STEM Alliance (GSA), an initiative to strengthen and support the STEM pipeline through mentorship and skill building programs.
Previously Chenelle was overseeing the Academy's Innovation Challenge program as well as the Academy's science policy portfolio; partnering with industry, academia, and government to build innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems in New York State and globally. Previously, Chenelle worked at the National Committee on American Foreign Policy where she coordinated high-level Track II dialogues and foreign policy briefings focused on Ethiopia and Central Asia.
Chenelle holds a bachelor's degree from Fordham University and a Master's degree in Global Affairs from New York University.
