The next generation of scientists, engineers and STEM professionals need to diversify their skill sets to effectively communicate across cultures, be innovative, nurture future STEM professionals and build learning communities to address the challenges of society. The Academy partners with a consortium of universities, teaching hospitals and independent research facilities to provide seminars, workshops, courses and other career-building opportunities for early career researchers to learn and network across institutions, disciplines and industries.

Our offerings include skill-building workshops on effective grant-writing, securing research funding, leadership skills and career planning. We also offer courses where early career researchers can earn credits in teaching, clinical research management, communicating science to policymakers, and more.
