Summary
The Chemical Biology of Lipids and Carbohydrate Metabolism conference will highlight strategies for understanding lipid and carbohydrate pathways crucial to bacterial pathogenicity and developing targets for precision medicine and nanoparticle engineering. Keynote speakers include Lana Saleh, PhD (New England Biolabs), who will discuss enzymes in molecular biology, and Stacy Malaker, PhD (Yale University), who will share her expertise on glycobiology.
Additional presentations will focus on areas including novel targets for metabolic diseases, the role of carbohydrates in bacterial survival and pathogenesis, and enzyme-based approaches to developing carbohydrate-driven therapeutics. Researchers can advance their work in an intimate venue that fosters dialogue, propelling this field forward.
Submit your abstract by October 1, 2025, to be considered for a short talk or poster session. Researchers at all levels and across disciplines and sectors can advance their work in a welcoming environment designed to encourage dynamic dialogues and meaningful exchange – propelling their research, and the science, forward.
