Overview

The New York Academy of Sciences is committed to empowering the next generation of scientists, engineers and STEM professionals with the skills needed to effectively communicate across cultures, be innovative in their work, and further their careers. The Academy partners with a consortium of universities, teaching hospitals and independent research facilities to provide seminars, workshops, courses and other career-building opportunities for early career researchers to learn and network across institutions, disciplines and industries.

We are proud to offer a growing portfolio of professional learning programming, providing our community with continuous opportunities to learn. Our offerings include skill-building workshops about effective grant-writing, leadership skills, science communication, and career planning. Our goal is to be a connector and build learning communities that help address the challenges of society.
