Effective communication and outreach are essential for the Academy to fulfill its mission, and this includes coverage from external media outlets. Members of the media are asked to mention The New York Academy of Sciences as the event host in any write-ups or articles that result from attendance at an Academy event. Additionally, members of the media may not publish or disseminate any unpublished data presented during the course of an event unless they receive written permission to do so from the speaker/presenter.
